Smoking runs in families, since smoking is something that can be taught by parents. Exercise also is taught by example. I am not sure about the military. I would assume that some families might push their kids into the military if both parents had been in it or if one or both were career military. I know a lot of people who went into the military simply because at 17 they didn’t know what else to do. A few of them were glad they made the decision. Many regretted it.

I would not sign up for Ancestry. I hear the company steals your privacy. I am not sure my source was accurate about this. I trust the family tree my grandmother gave me that shows my family is descended from the Vilna Gaon (look him up!). I have since met other descendants. I guess he got around…..
