The highest courts stated USA can’t hold migrant families over 20 days, but….

Good morning, everyone! You likely know exactly what I am thinking. So it’s obviously against every national and international law to detain children. Trump is now forced to comply and reunite the families. Now they are saying families cannot be held more than 20 days.

Those of you who read my blog regularly might be thinking the same thing I am. If it’s totally immoral, horrible, despicable, all those words people are using to describe the detention of immigrants, then….

And one might as well ask, “How can our country be so cruel to human beings?”

But it’s okay to imprison mental patients. Just fine. I can only conclude one thing. We aren’t seen as human. We aren’t seen as worthy of some activist group like MoveOn or hotshot politicians taking up the cause.

Obviously, some of these politicians speaking out for the immigrants are only doing it to keep up their voter support.

As the number of self-identified psychiatric survivors grows, I am hoping we can become a powerhouse that sways our government back in the right direction. What is it going to take?

I think more survivors need to come out of the closet, and speak up about the harms. Many are closeted for obvious reasons. We have actors coming out and claiming they’re bipolar. But what about more people in high places coming out as being harmed?

Obviously, you have to do this right. You want to come out with it without being re-labeled. To those of you reading this now who are closeted, I totally get the dilemma.

I think most of you see the total incongruity here. Has anyone here been detained over 20 days? Say aye.
