Sometimes, I get advice…it comes in various forms and degrees of “annoying” or “maddening” or “frustrating” or “oh geez bug off” downright hurtful…especially coming from someone who has never been where I’ve been.
I know folks mean well. Often, I take this advice just fine, or at least put up with it, but sometimes I get pissed off.
I don’t need someone to tell me what my so-called “problem” is, when I didn’t ask in the first place. I don’t like people acting like know-it-alls when they don’t know it all. Funny how often these folks are younger than me.
“Lectures” take on many forms….
Kindly try on anorexia nervosa for size, walk around in it for a few miles, or a few years, see how it feels, come back and THEN tell me your opinion. Thank you.
